Heck-Andrews House Restoration
Here at Integrity Roofing, we have worked hard on numerous projects throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas.
In 2020, we successfully restored the Heck-Andrews House that was originally built in 1870. This magnificent home is roofed with Buckingham slates on all slope roofing areas. The Heck-Andrews House has lead-coated stainless steel flat-locked roof systems on flat roof areas and lead-coated stainless steel standing seam roof panels on the low-sloped top section of this historical architectural masterpiece.
We completely hand removed all the existing Buckingham slates and blended new Buckingham slates with the original slates to preserve the historical authenticity of the original building. The new additional roof systems are installed with aluminum standing seam roof systems.
The Heck-Andrews House was one of the first homes built in Raleigh after the American Civil War, and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. This is a project our team at Integrity Roofing and Restoration was honored to work on .
Andrews-Duncan House Restoration
Integrity Roofing and Restoration teamed up with Crane Building Company in 2022 to restore the historic Andrews-Duncan House built in 1873. The Andrews-Duncan House is published in The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts (MESDA) and was declared a Raleigh Historic Landmark in 1972. We removed the original slate roof system and installed a new CertainTeed, Grand Manor, 50-yr Lifetime warrantable roof system over a synthetic felt underlayment that also has a 50-year warranty. The multiple low-sloped roof areas are new 60-mil EPDM fully-adhered roof systems. Crane Building is the General Contractor and has worked diligently restoring this building to meet all of Raleigh's Historical Society requirements.
